"I called for a bid on some electrical work on a Friday morning and within a few hours someone was there to give me an estimate. I decided to go ahead and have the work done and they showed up by 10 am on Monday morning. They were extremely quick and super helpful!! I feel like we got a decent price too. "I needed to have my electrical panel set up to integrate with my generator. I asked five different electrical contractors to come to my home to give me a price on this. Mr. Sparky was the only company that was professional from the minute the phone was answered until the panel face was fastened back on. They came out promptly to give me an estimate. They were equally as prompt and giving me an emailed cost of the estimate. And then, once again, they continue their professionalism in the scheduling and execution of the job. The tech that came out was named Trey. He was extremely professional. He worked diligently on the scope of work that needed to be done completed it quickly, and acted like a professional every minute that he was here….. In comparison to the other four contractors that came out— two of them never did generate an actual estimate and all four of them have no concept of professional services. Only Mr. Sparky out of five electrical contractors acted like professionals that have done this before and who know how to act in someone’s home. And oh, by the way, since I was trying to compare prices, their price was very reasonable nobodies price was less than theirs. I’m sure I will have a need for their services in the future and they are definitely the one I would recommend and will always use."

"Uhhgg….stupid Google just erased my super long review of Mr Sparky and Nathan :/ Here’s the shorter version… I called Mr Sparky and they set the appointment…waived the call fee since I am a first time customer. Nathan (super awesome electrician guy) came out…listened to my needs…looked at our equipment and took some measurements…then worked up an estimate while at my home. Because I general contract a lot of my own major projects…and many times just do the work myself (as the homeowner is allowed to do) I am familiar with the basic overall scope of the project at hand and understand how contracted professional pricing is done. However, for this particular project Austin Electric REQUIRES that I use a licensed electrician. (I mention this because the estimates given for the work seems very high. I didn’t deduct any stars on the review because I suspect that it is not Nathan, but the company that is setting the work rates) and I am confident that they would do a quality job. They did also offer some financing options that attempted to take the sting out of the overall numbers. That said, as a homeowner on a budget, there are probably more affordable options in the marketplace…smaller companies, small independent licensees, etc. I will definitely consider their bid for my project, but will definitely have to shop it around a bit. However, I have no doubt that Mr Sparky and Nathan would do a top notch job for whomever can handle pricing….wait for it….shock. (It would have been wrong not to ;) But 5* otherwise. There was a small issue after the installation, but they came out within an hour (after hours) to resolve the issue. We would highly recommend Mister Sparky of Dayton."

"He seemed to do a great job on the outlet replacement. I was a bit surprised by the price to do such a small task; he mentioned that there was a minimum charge for any work plus a charge for him coming out, so the fairly small fix ended up being over 200 dollars. Also, I wasn’t given the tablet to sign off on the work upon payment; he instead signed something for me. I would have preferred to get to read the statements and sign it myself."
