Power suddenly cut out on a portion of my house and garage. When I went into the garage to check the breaker I noticed a burn smell. After checking the breaker and noticing that none had popped, I flipped the breaker for the garage and called Mister Sparky. The staff was very helpful and quickly understood that i needed an electrician quickly and got me set up with Stuart. Stuart was able to come out after he was done with his already full schedule, which is greatly appreciated considering it was a short notice call. He was able to isolate the problem area quickly and was very thorough. He found the outlet that had partially melted and quickly removed and replaced the outlet and corrected the problematic wiring so this issue wouldn't happen again. Stuart was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided a lot of insight as to how and why this issue occurred. Will definitely go to Mister Sparky for future electrical issues and business.

I have used Mister Sparky several times in Charlotte, NC and now here near Augusta, Ga. They have hit the mark and beyond each time, so I didn't realize hesitate to have them install a standby generator for our home a few months ago. The install and performance since then have been perfect! Yesterday (on a Saturday), we contacted Mister Sparky because we heard an electrical buzzing sound emanating from one of the breakers in our fuse box. Joe Borzilleri came the same day to troubleshoot, identify and ultimately replace the offending breaker. He also suggested installing an inline surge protector, connected external to our home. Because just two years ago we moved to South Carolina from the Tampa Bay area (lightning capital of the U.S.), we were quite aware of the potential damage to home and appliances. Therefore, I was grateful Joe recommended the surge protector, as I'd didn't think to ask about it. He was very patient with my many questions both during and after the breaker and the surge protector install. I really appreciate Joe's expertise, patience and timelines. We had a problem with the lights and fans going out intermittently across all our bathrooms before the just went out completely with the exception of one light and one fan. When I called Mister Sparky, Mike was able to set up an appointment for us quickly and courteously! During our appointment, the electrician who helped us was Lawrence. He arrived on time and was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Also, he was courteous enough to put on shoe covers when stepping into the house! After Lawrence had found the cause of problem, he explained in clear terms what was happening, what needed to be done to fix it and the cost of repair/replacement for each part. He was able to answer all our questions, and asked for permission before performing any operation that might increase the price. Once we gave the go ahead, he was able to get our lights and fans back in working order! With an experience like this, we could easily recommend Mister Sparky for anyone in need of electrical work done by real professionals!

We found a great electrician! Lawrence knew the problem as soon as he saw the hidden GFCI outlet in our garage. Fixed the problem and we signed up for Maintenance with Mr Sparky. Lawrence did a thorough job going from room to room, outlet to outlet, even the crawl space! He also found out the corroded electrical connection in our backyard garden! He’s respectful, knowledgeable, and he took his time to explain what is going on! He wore mask and shoe covers!
