I called and requested service the same day if possible. The electrician texted and called almost immediately. He came on time as promised. He looked at the problem and took the first step determining the problem with an approach of complete safety and knowledge. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and informed me of what was needed to be done. I agreed and he proceeded to fix the problem to my satisfaction and did so in a professional manner. I asked about some concerns since the house was built in the 1960's and the wiring was the old copper that has become somewhat brittle. He also informed me that the surge protection worked to a degree but there was no ground to redirect a surge and with that explanation, I understood why some electrical devises had failed after a surge. I asked for an estimate and he was able to provide one within 30 minutes since it was a standard fix for the issue of not having a grounding system in place. When it is time to have the work done, I will call and schedule for the electrician who was the one who took care of my problem in a friendly, honest, and professional manner.
