About Mister Sparky of St. Paul

Mister Sparky of St. Paul is a locally owned and operated business by Brent Worwa, a St. Paul native who grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota.  Brent’s family history in the trade industry goes back 50+ years to when his grandpa, Frank Worwa, was a Minneapolis fireman and also a full-time carpenter and contractor.  These skills were passed down to Brent’s father, Jeff Worwa, who retired in 2023 after 45 years as a carpenter/contractor in the Twin Cities.  Brent grew up on jobsites with his dad and brother, but he always gravitated and was more interested in the electrical side of each job.

Brent went on to go to college at North Dakota State University to study Electrical Engineering.  After working for 12 years in the technology sales industry in the Twin Cities, he spent the next 5 years in and out of hospice care, fighting liver and kidney failure.  After a successful liver transplant in March of 2022, Brent was finally healthy enough to fulfill his dreams of starting his own business.

While still healing and on disability, Brent searched for business opportunities outside of the traditional 9 to 5 workday, when he came across the franchise partnership opportunity with Mister Sparky. As Brent learned about Mister Sparky’s business ethics, high standards and accomplish for customers all over the country, he realized that this aligned perfectly with his vision.  Brent wanted to help his city and residents of his hometown and continue his family legacy in the trades. 

Mister Sparky of St. Paul opened their doors on April 1,st of 2024, and they have been helping Twin Cities residents ever since.  The focus of Mister Sparky of St. Paul is to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our Customers, Employees and Community.
