This is the second year in a row that I've had Mr. Sparky come to our house for an annual generator tune up. The technician on both occasions was Gavin and he's great. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. On this most recent appointment, he went well above and beyond his required duties. While servicing our generator, he smelled natural gas. He alerted us and sure enough, there was a small leak in the natural gas hook up to our house. Piedmont came out and fixed it immediately. Without Gavin's attention to detail, this could have been either a costly situation for us or possibly even a hazardous situation. I can't thank Gavin enough.
Our technician, Joseph, was very positive and responsive. We had an electrical outage on a Friday night and he responded and came to our home within 30 minutes. He assisted us with contacting Duke energy and coordinated with them to make our repairs. He was able to diagnose and fix our electrical problems in less than 24 hours. We will definitely use Mister Sparky again for all our future electrical needs.
The first service to respond to my search and very considerate of my needs. I was told a service person would arrive within 2 hours. Alex Sholar did arrive in less than that. He methodically checked every smoke detector and electrical feeds in our home. The last detector turned out to be very old and by replacing it and testing, the system seems to be working fine. My wife and our dog are grateful.
